Tutorial on Replacing the Control Board of a Professional Miner

Note:

1. Disassembling the miner without permission of after-sales staff will void your warranty (check my warranty).  

2. Ensure that the installation is done correctly before restarting the miner.

3. Incorrect installation may void your warranty.

 

Step 1: Disassembling the Control Board

1.1 Remove the screws above the fans from the back of the miner.

1.2 Remove the top case.

1.3 Disconnect the ribbon cables connecting to the hash boards.

1.4 Disconnect the row lines connecting to the fans.

1.5 Remove the row lines from the gap.

1.6 Disconnect the power cable connecting to the power supply.

1.7 Unscrew the board above the fans.

1.8 Carefully remove the control board from the back to the front.

Step 2: Installing the Control Board

2.1 Align the edge of the control board with the card slot as shown in Figure 14.

Note:

The insertion direction of the control board is such that the buttons and Ethernet port should face outwards.

Gently push the control board in the direction of the arrow to complete the installation, as shown in Figure 15.

2.2 Install the front panel

When installing the front panel, pay attention to the positions of the buttons, ports, Ethernet ports, and status indicator. To prevent damage to the control board, tighten the screws that were removed earlier.

2.3 Connect the row lines to the ports

When connecting the four lines, pay attention to the front and back of the ports, and ensure that the lines are inserted fully. Make sure that the lines are inserted in the correct direction to avoid damaging the control board.

2.4 Install the top case

Follow the removal order when installing the top case. Straighten the lines to avoid affecting the installation of the top case. After securing the screws, the control board replacement process is complete.
