Tutorial on Replacing Fan of a BOX Miner

Note:

1. Disassembling the miner without permission of after-sales staff will void your warranty (check my warranty).  

2. Ensure that the installation is done correctly before restarting the miner.

3. Incorrect installation may void your warranty.

 

After receiving the new fans, please ensure to check the condition of the fans and row lines to make sure they are in good condition.

Please ensure that you have disassembled the WIFI antenna before proceeding with the next steps.

1. Removing the Defective Fan

1.2 Slowly pull out the hash board; unplug the row lines.

1.3 Make sure the position of the bad fans, pls take the following picture for reference. After-sales staff refer to "fan #1, fan #2" or "fan 1, fan 2" as shown in the figure by No.1 and No.2.

2. Install the fans

Put the new fans into the correct position, then install. You can take the above tutorial for reference. Remember to confirm the airflow direction when installing, and make sure the same side with the same airflow direction. TIP: the arrow should point to the side where there are indicator lights.

Installing the fan in the wrong direction may lead to the miner shutting down at high temperatures, and even causing irreversible damage!

Please make sure to install the fan's protective mesh during installation to prevent any safety accidents.

 

 

 When installing the fan interface, please align it according to the diagram and press it to the bottom to ensure a complete insertion. Do not use excessive force, as it may damage the pins and prevent the device from functioning properly.

 

 

 

3 Install the hash board.

 3.1 Place the hash board inside the box, aligning its edge with the internal groove, as marked in the following picture.

3.2 Align the IP button and the WiFi module with the air outlet baffle.

3.3 Secure the hash board in place by installing the four screws.

The fan replacement is now complete!

4 Test the device.

After completing all the above steps, perform a power-on startup test. Please pay close attention to electrical safety. If there are any abnormalities after the device is powered on, please promptly turn off the power switch and avoid touching the device directly. Contact customer service and provide them with relevant details and information about the situation.
